Meret is the founder of IM Yoga. A modeling job has brought her to New York, where she discovered yoga 15 years ago. She has been living in her favorite city of the world for 8 years. Since then yoga has become her best tool to keep her body fit, her mind calm and her emotions in balance.

As an international fashion model, Meret traveled the world for many years. Besides high heels, make-up and her portfolio book, one staple she always carried with her was her yoga mat. Through her extensive travels, she was exposed to many different yoga styles, teachers and the local cultures and traditions surrounding them.

In 2015, Meret completed a 200-hour Yoga Alliance certified Vinyasa/Ashtanga teacher training in Ubud, Bali. The previous year, she also completed her training in holistic complimentary medicine and passed her exams as a certified alternative practitioner. This additional medical training, combined with her yoga teaching skills, gives Meret a unique awareness and understanding of the human body and how to adapt the practice especially for people with injuries.

After living a truly international life, with stints in the melting pots of New York City and Berlin, Meret developed a deep understanding that true power lies within by uniting apparent opposites. She emphasizes the unity of opposites in her classes: rooting and lengthening; stability and flexibility; effort and relaxation; calm and awareness; focus and playfulness. At the core is the overcoming of limitations by deciding one’s own condition: physically, mentally and emotionally. Finding ease in effort is the key to a happy and healthy body and mind.

In the summer of 2017, Meret founded IM Yoga to bring her knowledge, passion and love of the practice to those around her. She is also the Co-Founder of «Models Against Addictions», a non-profit foundation whose focus is the awareness of the prevalence of addictions in our society and the integration of yoga and meditation in recovery.

Haley

Haley is a yoga teacher who has a passion for movement and strengthening the mind/body connection. As a former professional volleyball athlete, her yoga practice began as a physical practice, which turned into a lifestyle that provided balance and healing after a severe knee injury. Since discovering the transformative power of yoga, she has made it her mission to share it with others!
Haley’s dynamic flows help cultivate body awareness and empower others to embrace their own strength. Expect warmth, humility and understanding when meeting her on the mat.
